School of Mathematical Sciences – The University of Adelaide.
Workshop: Incidence Geometry and Information Security Applications
- Date: Mon, 20 - Thu, 23 Jan 2003
- Location: The Engineering and Mathematics Building, North Terrace campus
The purpose of this workshop is two-fold. First to discuss recent and current research techniques in the area of incidence geometry. This will mainly, but not exclusively, include finite incidence geometries such as generalized quadrangles, projective and polar spaces, partial geometries and semipartial geometries as well as extremal structures in such geometries. The second purpose it to discuss the application of incidence geometries to problems in information security.

Mini Spring School: Noncommutative geometry and string theory
- Date: Wed, 13 - Fri, 15 Oct 2004
- Location: Physics Seminar Room, North Terrace campus
The mini spring school is meant for begining graduate students, who have an interest in noncommutative geometry and/or string theory. Several lecture series will be given by leading experts, which will serve as part of an introductory program for the AMSI WORKSHOP entitled "Noncommutative geometry and index theory'' that will be held in July 22 - August 1, 2005 at ANU, Canberra.
