Dear colleagues,

We hope you are well rested and feeling rejuvenated after the break. As we gear up for another academic year, we’re excited to share the first issue of SET News with you.

Our focuses this year will be on promoting the visibility of our research, engaging with a growing number of students, fostering a vibrant Faculty culture and continuing to build a strong Faculty footprint. With these goals in mind, we are confident that 2023 will be a successful and exciting year for the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology.

Additionally, we would like to ask you to save the date for the upcoming Faculty-wide Forum and Roseworthy Campus Showcase on Tuesday 21 March, where we will have the opportunity to discuss the shape and direction of the Faculty for 2023. We will have buses providing transport to those based at North Terrace. While specific details and agenda of this forum will be shared in the coming weeks, please mark your calendars now to save the date. A new web page for Faculty-wide Forum information has been created here, which will be updated with agenda and transport information soon.

Welcome back to campus and we look forward to an exciting year ahead.
