Fleet and Field

  • SET parking permits

Parking on North Terrace campus is by permit only. Parking at Roseworthy and Waite campuses does not require a permit. Permits for temporary parking on North Terrace are available through the SET Parking Permits system.

Who can use the parking permits?

Temporary short-term parking permits are available for visitors, contractors and staff not based at North Terrace who have short-term requirements to visit North Terrace i.e. less than a full working day. Arrangements for all day parking at North Terrace is your personal responsibility e.g. Early Bird Parking, use of public transport etc.

The permits can also be used for Faculty engaged contractors. The staff who engaged the contractor will need to book the permit.

The permits are not intended for exclusive use. Reasonable use ensures that permits will be available and accessible to staff when legitimately needed. The permits are not for private use.

    How do I book?

Permits are booked using the SET Parking Permits system. This system can be accessed by all SET Staff and does not require any pre-registration.

Once you have opened the booking system, select the permit that you need to book and enter the day and time required.

Note that there are locations at North Terrace (NT), Roseworthy (RW) and Waite Campus which are used for  collection purposes. Please ensure that you book the correct location for pick-up. Staff not based at NT campus are welcome to book the permit with the NT collection point.  You do need to pick-up the permit and display it on the vehicles dashboard.

Bookings MUST include the following information:

    • Driver’s name
    • Driver’s mobile phone number
    • Purpose of the booking Be as specific as possible, for example entering "meeting" as the purpose of the booking is insufficient and will result in your booking being removed.
    • Vehicle registration (if known)

Please ensure that your permits are returned on time as often there are back-to-back bookings on the permits.
