Defence Women in STEM Undergraduate Scholarships
Defence is offering undergraduate scholarships of $10,000 per year, aimed at encouraging high-performing women to continue their university study in a STEM field.

If you are a high-performing woman commencing your second or third year of undergraduate STEM study, then you may be eligible for a Defence Women in STEM scholarship.
This opportunity will support your study and also offer Defence STEM placements and mentoring opportunities across Defence.
Who can apply
Scholarships will be awarded to multiple applicants who can demonstrate strong academic results, study in STEM areas relevant to Defence, and have an interest in a career in Defence.
Factors such as community leadership, STEM outreach, and community involvement will also be considered in the application process.
Eligible students must be an Australian citizen who identifies as a woman and is commencing their second or third year of study at an undergraduate level, with a minimum of two further years of study in the degree program.

Upload you personal statement, CV, university transcript and letter of support from a university academic staff member on the Department of Defence website.
Applications close Sunday 18 April 2021.
