A message from the Manager, Marketing (SET)

Jessica Bosch

Our in-person Open Day took place on Sunday 14 August, drawing in over 6500 visitors to our North Terrace campus.

The SET Faculty saw 300 prospective students join a Faculty campus tour, 3700 attendees to 15 Q&A panels, and a steady stream of traffic through the 11 study area booths in the Maths Lawns Marquee over the course of the day.

I’d like to acknowledge the large number of teams and individuals who contributed their help to make our largest recruitment event of year successful:

  • All of our schools, for which we acknowledge have worked through a format different to previous years. We appreciate your hard work to adapt to this format.
  • The Adelaide Rover Team, for their fantastic rover display and engaging takeover of our SET Instagram account (which you can view here).
  • The team at the EXTERRES lab for their passionate promotion of career pathways in space across a variety of fields.
  • The team at the Acoustics and Vibrations lab for giving future students an immersive experience in our anechoic and reverberation chambers.
  • The team in the Creation Studio for giving future students the opportunity to see student projects and interact with them hands-on.

Thank you to everyone involved for their monumental effort in delivering such a great experience for our future students and their families.

The online Open Day event will take place the evening of Friday 19 August.
