Key partners
The Fertiliser Technology Research Centre was established in 2007 via a partnership between the University of Adelaide and The Mosaic Company.
The scope of the centre was further expanded in 2009 through a partnership between The Mosaic Company and the Australian Grains Research and Development Corporation.
A five-year extension of the partnership agreement was signed in 2015 between the University and Mosaic. In 2020, the two partners agreed to continue their partnership for a further five-year period.
In collaboration with Sabancı University in Turkey, the FTRC is looking at localisation and speciation of Zn in wheat grains under different timings of foliar Zn applications.
