Australian Society of Soil Science Publication Medal for Daniela Montalvo

Daniela Montalvo received the prestigious Australian Society of Soil Science Publication Medal of 2015.

This medal is awarded for a publication on any subject in soil research for candidates 35 years and less. The award is made on the basis of scientific merit, relevance to soil science and effectiveness in communicating the paper's content to the reader.

The significance of the Montalvo’s work is reflected in achieving publication of a soil science paper in Environmental Science and Technology which has an impact factor of 5.33 and rejects many manuscripts due to the wide range of papers submitted from many environmental disciplines.
