Aims

The Institute's aims and functions are to:

• Undertake world class research in geometry and its applications at The University of Adelaide;
• Provide support for research activities in this field, including assistance in obtaining external and, where appropriate, industry funding;
• Co-ordinate workshops in areas relevant to the research interests of members of the Institute;
• Attract postgraduate students, promote research and postgraduate training in the general area of geometry and its applications; and
• Promote the formation of national and international links.
