Workshop: Incidence Geometry and Applications of Discrete Mathematics

The Institute for Geometry and its Applications, the University of Adelaide, is hosting a Workshop on Incidence Geometry and Applications of Discrete Mathematics on 14 - 16 February 2005 at the University of Adelaide, Australia.

The purpose of this workshop to discuss recent and current research techniques in the area of incidence geometry and associated applications. This will mainly, but not exclusively, include finite incidence geometries such as generalized quadrangles, projective and polar spaces and applications such as information security and Genetics.

The workshop will include organised sessions of talks, of 50 or 25 minutes length. There will be a scheduled session to discuss open problems, as well as opportunities for informal discussions between participants.

Please feel free to circulate this announcement to anyone whom you feel may be interested.

There is no registration fee, and all interested in attending are welcome. There is no expectation of participants presenting a talk, although it is strongly encouraged.
