At the School of Chemical Engineering and Advanced Materials, our vibrant and dynamic research team delivers solutions to challenging global issues across chemical engineering, materials engineering and bioprocess engineering.

Our school has achieved the highest ranking - 5, well above world standard - in chemical engineering, materials engineering, and nanotechnology, by Excellence in Research for Australia.
Our world-class research activities are led by world-leading researchers, including two Laureate Fellows, one NHMRC Leadership Fellow, and eight Clarivate Analytics Highly Cited Researchers.
We offer two postgraduate research degrees: Master of Philosophy, Doctor of Philosophy.
