With a strong focus on design, you will have the opportunity to apply your technical knowledge on engineering projects throughout your undergraduate degree.
Engineering at Adelaide includes an embedded honours year, in which you’ll complete a major project relevant to your area of specialisation. This will be showcased at South Australia’s largest student exhibition, Ingenuity.
Where can mechanical engineering take me?
Mechanical engineers design and create things that move. You could apply your skills to make motor vehicles, aircraft systems, engines, pumps, gas turbines, industrial plants, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems, manufacturing processes, building services or even space stations.
