As my alma mater for multiple degrees, the University of Adelaide has provided me with a multidisciplinary education and broad perspective on the world. This world-class institute has opened many doors for my career and allowed me to work for internationally renowned, top-tier design practices across Australia. Studying there also facilitated my transition into academia where I have enjoyed working at five universities across Australia and the UK. I use my extensive industry experience – bolstered by international, national and state awards, fellowships and grants – to help students think creatively and critically on matters of local, national and international importance. In collaboration with professional bodies and the University of Adelaide, I am a strong advocate for architecture and landscape architecture, and I continue to publish books, chapters and articles providing industry perspectives.
