Yanyu Lao
Bachelor of Science (Marine Biology)
“The Beneath the Waves study tour was certainly the highlight of my entire undergraduate degree with the University of Adelaide. In our third year, it gave us a chance to get up close and personal with the underwater world we studied from afar as marine biology students. It was also the best opportunity to make some life-long friends who shared the same passions and values, bringing us closer together as a cohort. When we weren't snorkelling and diving in some of the world's most biodiverse waters, or hiking through some amazing Timorese forests, we were learning from and making connections with two brilliant scientists who ensured we got the most out of the study tour. If you're looking for a way to make your undergraduate experience unforgettable, this tour is the way to do it!"
