The School of Architecture and Built Environment Awards Event 2019

The School of Architecture and Built Environment hosts an annual Student Awards event that recognises high achieving students who have achieved outstanding results at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Partnering with our industry sponsors helps us recognise and reward our student talent.

Undergraduate awards

The Allan Correy Landscape Architecture Award Awarded to the student in the final year of the Bachelor of Architectural Design who achieves the highest mark in the courses – Design Studio 5 and 6, Construction 3 and Representation 3.

Australian Institute of Architects (SA Chapter) Prizes for the Bachelor of Architectural Design

Awarded to the students (Bachelor of Architectural Design) who achieve the highest mark. Three prizes of $100 each are awarded for the following groups of courses:

  1. Level I Bachelor of Architectural Design compulsory courses. 
  2. Level II Bachelor of Architectural Design compulsory courses.
  3. Level III Bachelor of Architectural Design compulsory courses

The Philip Nayda Architecture Prize Awarded to a student studying full time in the Bachelor of Architectural Design who achieve the highest quality design and exhibits the best constructability principles in the course DESST 3513 Design Studio 5.

Australian Institute of Architects (SA Chapter) Prizes for the Master of Architecture Awarded to the students (Master of Architecture) who achieve the highest mark in the following groups of courses.
  • Two prizes of $200 each are awarded for the following groups of courses:
    1. Studio Cultures: Architecture (M) and Studio: Urbanism (M)
    2. Studio: Architecture (M)
  • One prize of $300 is awarded for the following groups of courses:
    1. Final Architecture Project (M)
