Wear it Purple strives to foster supportive, safe, empowering and inclusive environments for rainbow young people.
This year, we will be wearing it purple on Friday 27 August under the theme ‘Start the Conversation, Keep it Going’. This is focused on the important and necessary conversations we have in our daily life; that centre around sexual orientation and gender identity.
It aims to remind people that the issues we reflect on Wear it Purple Day should not only be considered on that particular day, but every day.
Celebrate and empower the diversity that surrounds each and every one of us; diversity in sex, sexuality and gender identities, in perspectives, in values, in everything!
Be part of a movement that has the potential to save thousands of lives. Be part of this change.
You're invited to show your support and join the festivities!
