HiTEMP-2: Attend the 2nd international forum on zero carbon high temperature minerals processing

HiTemp-2 Forum

The Centre for Energy Technology at the University of Adelaide invites you to attend the second International Forum on Zero Carbon High Temperature Minerals Processing (HiTeMP-2), to be held at the National Wine Centre in Adelaide.

Following the very successful inaugural forum in 2018, the University of Adelaide’s Centre for Energy Technology is delighted to invite you to attend the Second International Forum on Zero Carbon High Temperature Minerals Processing (HiTeMP-2), which will be held from March 16 – 18, 2020.

The High Temperature Minerals Processing (HiTeMP) Forum is emerging as the leading global forum fostering the transformation of heavy industry towards net-zero CO2 emissions. The relevance of this topic is growing with each new announcement of carbon-neutral targets by major international high temperature processing companies, in response to emerging markets for low carbon products.

The HiTeMP-2 Forum will bring together global leaders from industry, research, investors, non-government agencies and policy-makers to chart the pathway for heavy industry toward net-zero-CO2 emissions, addressing the need for heat, chemicals and electricity.

The forum will address global drivers, emerging technologies and current trends for the processes to decarbonise iron/steel, cement/lime/alumina and new-energy-metals.

Engage with key stakeholders, participate in discussion and help shape a carbon-constrained future for the new, low-carbon economy.

Date: 16-18 March 2020 (single day registration available)
Location: National Wine Centre, Adelaide

EXTENDED: Early bird registration ends on February 17, 2020. Discounts apply for students.
