Ribit and AustCyber (Australian Cyber Security Growth Network) are hosting a cyber security focused speed interviewing for jobs and networking event for talented tertiary students looking for internships, part-time jobs and entry-level graduate roles in the fast-growing cyber security sector.
Learn about open or future roles to support you while you study, how to present yourself and network professionally and have the opportunity to meet potential employers and boost your career opportunities.
The event is open to all students with a passion for cyber security and skills or a background across Technology, Engineering, Data Science, Research, Marketing, Design, Business Operations, Finance; from universities, TAFE and accredited colleges.
Cyber security permeates many aspects of a business including law, policy analysis, international relations, criminology & policing, counter-terrorism, religious studies, politics, risk management & governance, human resources & training, change management and more.
If you have the passion and relevant skills, this talent jam will provide valuable opportunities for you with some of Australia’s most innovative companies.
Who is attending?
Organisations across Adelaide and other parts of South Australia who appreciate the value of hiring students to help grow their business and are in need of talent with a passion for cyber security. Innovative high growth start-ups/scale-ups, SMEs and larger companies, ready to invest their time and knowledge to give students the experience they need to enhance their Ribit profile and become highly employable on graduation.
In addition, there is a dedicated career-focused pre-session for students which includes pitch coaching plus there will be mentors to encourage and support you throughout the event.

Before we can confirm which students should attend, we need to match skills to make sure students and businesses have the best experience. If your skills match the skills that businesses are looking for on this occasion, you will be sent an email confirmation with a ticket.

2:30 pm - Student registration
3:00 pm - Student pitch coaching (room to be advised)
3:00 pm - Employers, guests, VIP registration
3:30 pm - Event officially starts - Welcome speeches: Minister for Innovation and Skills, Hon. David Gregory Pisoni
4:00 pm - Employer 30-second introductions
4:30 pm - Speed interviews begin (12 x 5 min rounds)
5:30 pm - Wrap up speech, informal networking commences
