Animal & Vet Seminar: The Animal Welfare Collaborative

Societal expectations for animal welfare are quickly evolving, and many industries that use animals are under increasing pressure to improve the welfare of their animals.

The Animal Welfare Collaborative is a university-led, non-partisan ‘knowledge broker’ for animal welfare powered by researchers across Australia. The goal? To make Australia a global leader in animal welfare.

University of Queensland researchers, Professor of Animal Welfare Alan Tilbrook and Dr Jill Fernandes, will explain the concept and goals of The Animal Welfare Colllaborative and will talk about how University of Adelaide researchers can get involved.
