Sciences Alumni Network Evening with Professor Rob Fitzpatrick

Join us for our next Sciences Alumni Network evening.

The Sciences Alumni Network provides alumni the opportunity to meet fellow alumni and reconnect with their University in a meaningful way.

The purpose of the network is to foster interdisciplinary networking, promote peer to peer mentoring and enable opportunities for alumni professional and personal development.

As a graduate from the Faculty of Sciences you automatically become a member of the Sciences Alumni Network.

Guest speaker

Rob Fitzpatrick

Professor Rob Fitzpatrick
Professorial Research Fellow, The University of Adelaide

Rob is the founding director of the Centre for Australian Forensic Soil Science, which is a national and international body that researches and uses earth materials such as soils, rocks, minerals and human-made mineral particles like bricks in forensic investigations to link criminals to crime scenes. Through numerous successful case studies involving cold murders, contemporary murders, rape, serious organised crime, environmental pollution and counter terrorism investigations his presentation will illustrate the power of using earth materials in criminal investigations and how this information was used as evidence in Supreme courts across Australia.
