Are you looking for a summer, honors or masters project, and interested in optics or photonics?
Or just like free pizza?
Please join us for an evening celebrating the great work being undertaken in this field at the Institute for Photonics and Advanced Sensing (IPAS).
Current students and early career researchers will provide 3' insights into their research and experiences, there will be plenty of time for networking over free food and drink, and there will be a chance to tour many of the optics laboratories in the Institute for Photonics and Advanced Sensing (IPAS) .
Even if you don’t think optics and photonics is for you, please come along – you may be surprised! In any case we promise you will be inspired, have fun and be fed.
You'll also get the opportunity to network and visit the IPAS labs (please ensure you wear closed shoes).
Register by COB Friday 8 October 2021.
The Institute for Photonics and Advanced Sensing (IPAS) has been created to bring together experimental physicists, chemists, material scientists, biologists, experimentally driven theoretical scientists and medical researchers to create new sensing and measurement technologies.
The outcome and impact of these projects range from new Scientific Discoveries and innovations to Sign-Out companies and the creation of new jobs across such areas as defence and security, health and biotech, space science and astrophysics, sustainable energy, mining and resources, advanced manufacturing, and agri-food and wine.
