2nd John Burland Lecturer Announced

Congratulations to Professor Mark Jaksa from the School of Civil, Environmental and Mining Engineering who has recently been selected as the 2nd John Burland Lecturer by the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering’s (ISSMGE) Technical Committee TC306 in Geo-engineering Education. The award recognises excellence in geotechnical engineering education internationally, both in practice and research. 

Professor Jaksa will deliver the lecture at the International Conference on Geotechnical Engineering Education in June 2020 in Athens.
