PhD scholarship opportunities within Australia-China Joint Research Centre
The Australia-China Joint Research Centre of Offshore Wind and Wave Energy is a transnational research body jointly funded by the Australian Department of Industry, Innovation and Science and the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology.
The Joint Research Centre involves over 10 partners across the two nations with expertise in both offshore wind and wave energy industries, led by the University of Adelaide and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The aim of the Joint Research Centre is to address the scientific and business challenges in the global renewable energy industry by developing lower cost and sustainable combined wind and wave power generation technology. The commercial benefits will lead to improved energy security, reduced fossil fuel emissions, economic growth and job creation.
