Call for papers: Emergent practice in cybersecurity
It is said that there are two types of organisations: those impacted by a cyber-attack and those yet to realise it.
Business leaders, politicians and frontline managers are increasingly required to understand the threat cyber risk presents to their operational environment. For C-suite executives to understand the critical risk information management presents in this modern age, a plain English summary of the risk, emergent practices and interdisciplinary nature of the problem is needed.
In this book, we examine the global cybersecurity crisis through the lens of adaptive thinking. We address the issues most relevant in today's environment and provide a crash course in the basic principles of cybersecurity as they apply to business to guide the modern executive, operations and frontline manager.
We are seeking proposals for chapters from any disciplines dealing with the interdisciplinary boundaries of cyber risk as it applies to business. Interdisciplinary perspectives, Industry experts, early-career researchers and PhD students are particularly welcome and encouraged to submit.
Papers may wish to explore, but are not limited to:
- adaptive leadership and game-changing ideas
- policy, procedures and practice in cybercrime
- human factors, including cyber hygiene
- information management
- case studies, including legal
- cyber insurance
- privacy implications

Submitting a proposal
Proposals should be submitted as abstracts of no more than 300 words, along with a short bio of no more than 100 words to Dr Richard Matthews (Subject: Emergent Practice in Cyber - CFP)
