UG Engineering Internships: Mechanical, Civil, Construction with Australian Naval Infrastructure

Australian Naval Infrastructure are seeking third and fourth year Construction, Mechanical or Civil Engineering students, for 12-weeks paid industry experience from December to March 2020.
Students will be afforded the opportunity to work within established and experienced project and construction management teams within our organisation whicy is leading the establishment of state-of-the-art infrastructure for the domestic manufacture of world-class naval vessels. The expansion and modernisation of the Osborne Naval Shipyard involves the design and construction of significant open plan buildings (up to 50m in height) to house specific ship and submarine production line equipment including automated, robotically driven cutting and welding stations.
A placement with ANI will involve you in a range of tasks associated with the design, construction management and supervision of these major infrastructure projects, gaining practical industry experience in areas such as risk management, quality assurance, safety and environmental management, estimating and programming services, preparation of project documentation, and progress and analysis reporting.
