The Clive E Boyce Scholarship - open to MPhil/PhD in the School of Architecture and Built Environment

The Clive E Boyce Scholarship has been established to support the undertaking of research activities or study-related travel by a current or commencing higher degree by research student in the School of Architecture and Built Environment. 

This scholarship was established in 1964 by Mrs R I M Boyce, who donated £5000 to establish a postgraduate scholarship in architecture in memory of her late husband Clive E Boyce.

The value of the scholarship will be $4,000 per year or an amount which does not exceed the annual distribution of interest available from the Endowment Fund.

Scholarship recipients with caring responsibilities may apply for support from the ECMS Dependant Travel Fund

Who can apply?

The Clive E Boyce Scholarship is available to a candidate

  • currently enrolled in a higher degree by research program (MPhil or PhD) in the School of Architecture and Built Environment; or
  • who has been offered (or provisionally offered) admission for higher degree by research study (MPhil or PhD) in the School of Architecture and Built Environment.
