International Women’s Day 2021: Let’s celebrate our University women

International Women’s Day (IWD) is celebrated annually on 8 March.

In the lead up to this day, we reflect on progress made so far, call for change and celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women the world over.

For IWD 2021, we will celebrate University of Adelaide women – staff, students and alumni – who have inspired or supported others through innovation, service, leadership and/or resilience during the past year.

All members of the University community are invited to submit nominations. We will celebrate all eligible nominees through a collage of photographs*, and summaries of their contributions and personal attributes. These will be displayed online and printed for an IWD breakfast to be held on North Terrace, Roseworthy and Waite campuses on Friday 5 March 2021.

Nominate a woman who has inspired or supported you here by 5 February 2021.

*NB: Your nominee must agree to have her photograph and summary used in the collage.
