How does scent work impact dog management and behaviour?
Dogs have a well-developed sense of smell.
This can be used as a tool in areas such as in wildlife conservation to find threatened species, or in environmental enrichment to improve dog welfare.
There are potentially multiple honours projects available under this umbrella which builds on the successful COVID detector dog work that has been running at in the School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences at Roseworthy campus.
We would like to explore how 'scent work' impacts dog management and behaviour.
