Young Women in STEM - resounding success for 2020

This year we offered our Young Women in STEM event virtually and were overwhelmed with the positive response and engagement.

It’s amazing to see what young people can achieve in just a few short hours!

With 140 high school girls from metro Adelaide and regional SA participating, we guided the groups through several challenges such as origami using architectural techniques, and a step by step hydraulic scissor lift from our provided flatpacks.

Delivered via Zoom, this workshop challenged the participants listening skills, their teamwork and problem solving, all highly sought after skills in STEM jobs.

The session finished with a Q&A Panel of our current students and alumni:
