Multiple PhD scholarships with Codan and Playford Trust
Codan has formed a Research & Technology group to focus on core and emerging technologies related to the field of Situational Awareness.
Initial focus for this group will be the development of dissimilar technologies to support GPS-denied ranging, location, tracking and navigation.
The Playford Trust, in partnership with Codan, offers PhD scholarships in the following technologies to students who are ready to start their career in research:
- application of machine learning to inertial navigation
- radio frequency digital signal processing for wireless ranging and localisation
- application of computer vision technologies for simultaneous location and tracking.
The $10,000pa scholarships are intended to supplement an existing Australian Government Research Training Program Stipend Scholarship (RTPS) or similar institutional PhD stipend scholarship, providing a total stipend value of $38Kpa.
