Space tablets splashdown on Earth

SpaceX pills

A batch of pills has returned to Earth after a year of being exposed to the environment inside the International Space Station (ISS). University of Adelaide researchers will check what the effects of some of the highest levels of radiation found beyond the Earth’s atmosphere have had on the tablets.

Paper on the Future of Nanofertilisers in Highest-Impact Journal

Microfluidics

Remote PhD student Tu Le, along with Professor Volker Hessel and co-authors have recently published a review on microfluidic encapsulation and its use for nanofertilisers – which are among the grand challenges of future engineering.

ARC Discovery Early Career Research Awards 2022

Of the five awards given to the University of Adelaide, the Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences have received two with both successful candidates coming from the School of Chemical Engineering and Advanced Materials. The total funding received across the two awards is $857, 582.
